Dreadlock Removal
Shampoo with White Grapefruit and Hempseed OilKnotty Boys incredible Emergency Dreadlock Removal Shampoo helps to restore your hair to its original condition - easily! Using the natural properties found in citrus peel, this gentle yet powerful shampoo dissolves Knotty Boy Dread Wax in dreads and softens them for easy removal, while hemp seed oil, grapefruit seed extract, and oat proteins restore moisture and nutrients that are essential for healthy, soft and great-looking hair. Dreadlock Damage Control Deep Conditioner with Prickly Pear and Hempseed Oil After thoroughly scrubbing with Knotty Boy Emergency Dreadlock Removal Shampoo, detangle and moisturize those dreads with our silky Knotty Boy Damage-Control Deep Conditioner for the last steps in dreadlock removal and ultimate hair-repair. Aloe vera extract soothes the scalp and hair follicles, while jojoba, hemp oil and panthenol smoothes and strengthens, conditioning your lovely locks back to their old selves! Directions: Lay in a bath filled with very warm water, submerging dreadlocks completely. Allow dreads to soak thoroughly for 10 minutes, then begin to vigorously work a small amount of Knotty Boy Dreadlock Removal Shampoo into dreads, small sections at a time. Rinse and repeat for each section as necessary. Once dread wax is removed and dreadlock is softened, apply small amount of Knotty Boy Dreadlock Damage-Control Deep Conditioner to each dread and, using a strong comb, VERY gently begin to pick dread out, working from the end and moving upward toward the scalp. Continue until all dreadlocks are removed, then thoroughly condition all hair, allowing to sit a minimum of five minutes, and rinse. Both Shampoo and Conditioner may be used repeatedly on non-dreaded hair for continued repair and conditioning.
